It's a simple little open-top box that would be perfect for party favors at your child's school, or placed at each person's place at the dinner table on Valentine's Day. All you have to do is tuck in a few little wrapped candies or some of those mini bags that you can get this time of year in the candy aisle of just about every store. I used a 3x5" cellophane bag and filled it about halfway with M&Ms and tied it with a silver ribbon. I'm pretty sure you can get the bags anyplace that sells candy making supplies. Just be sure you get food-grade ones. Some of the bags they sell at craft stores aren't intended to be used with food.
As always, I would LOVE to see what you create with the file, so send me your photos! And check out my new videos and tell me what you think of them, too.
UPDATE: One of my followers and Cricut MB buddies used this box as a cookie holder - brilliant idea, Nikki! I should have thought of it, after all, I had a whole plate of chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the over when I designed this. Hop over to Nikki's blog, My Polar Expressions, and see how cute she made it!

This is so pretty! This will be great for my DGKS. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
Cindy, I read about someone stealing your files. I am so glad you worked it out and you are still sharing your creations. I have downloaded a couple of them and they are beautiful. I appreciate that you share them and what you are doing to help those of us who also share to be more protected.
Super cute. Thanks for sharing.
I've tried this several times now Cindy...and all it cuts for me is the oval kind of tabs. It doesn't cut anything else. I have both the George and Plantin cartridges....any ideas???
Nikki, are you cutting with DS or Gypsy?
I am cutting with DS
Hmm...I cut it 4 times with no problems. Maybe delete the one you downloaded and download it again? I suppose the file could have been corrupted. I'm not sure what else it could be.
Sooo cute love it, thanks so much for sharing your files.....
User error...sorry. I don't think I was extracting the files correctly. Thanks so much for your amazing files. I've made a couple on my own...and they do take a lot of time. I really appreciate all the work you put in to helping everyone. Love the Treat Heart Box. :) Thanks again.
Nikki, I'm so glad you got it to work! :)
Thank you! Your blog post will be advertised on the CraftCrave Blog Cutting Freebie search engine today (look for timestamp: [01 Feb 02:00pm GMT]).
Lovely box design.
And I like the plaid paper.
Thanks for sharing again and again.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I love it!
I love it! Thanks again for sharing!
Thank You so much for sharing this extremely cute idea and for sharing the gyspy file. I had never done any of this before and thanks to you..I am even more addicted to my gyspy and cricut. I did download a few other files, just haven't had time to try cutting them out. I have had my CE for about 1 yr. now, but I am just now really getting into all this crafting stuff. I discovered how calming it all is..as well as rewarding. With 2 very busy daughters and being a teacher, I need all the relaxation I can get. I have become a follower of your blog and look foward to sharing all my 'oops' and "Yes.. I got it!" moments with you. And if,(I stress the word IF) I ever get any great ideas, I will do the same for you. Like I said before, I am kinda new to this aspect of the crafting experience, so we shall see how it goes. Thanks again for sharing all your wisdom and knowledge.
P.S. This is my first ever blog post....sorry.
Courtney
Cindy,
I am unable to open the directions for the treatheart as there is no pdf file. Could you please add one.
I could open the candybar purse but not this one.
thanks
There is no instruction pdf for this one as it is pretty simple to put together. Once you cut and score it, I think it will be pretty evident how to put together :)
Cindy, I saw this on the mb and it's is just adorable!
I'll be seeing you!
Cute and totally doable for me! Thanks for the inspiration!
This is a modified post from the football post. lol I was going to download your heart box to modify it, okay try to modify it, okay mess it up, by taking away the hearts, adding a football in the front of the box and perhaps a goal on the backside of the box. I was planning to make a fleur de leis stamp, make the bottom of the box black, stamp the box with gold embossing powder, heat it up and maybe put “Who Dat” in the front and back middle of the box. Then I planned to make the football, emboss the lines on the football with the score board, stickle it perhaps and try to figure out what texture I was going to make the pigskin of the football to pop. Then I was going to put a shadow behind the football and either repeat it or put a goal on the backside of the box as I did not get that far in my thoughts with the design. Then I was going to find black and gold tissue paper, put it in the box and pour snacks in the box! I planned to put several boxes around the room and I guess you can figure out who I want to win the Superbowl! Lol Mercy, Mercy, wake up girl that design is not going to happen as that was just a dream! Lol Really, it is not going to happen unless of course you want to succeed with that idea. Lol No pressure! The box is versatile that can be modified to add different images for each holiday and event. I like it and I like it a lot! Thank you for sharing your creativity and joy!!!
Who Dat!
Mercy!!!
Cindy I am so excited about this cut. I have already been working on one trying to give it my own touch. I appreciate how easy it is to assemble and I am going to need that since I am making 19 of them for my son's class. TFS!
This is awesome - thanks so much for sharing! :)
